Specialist Survey of the Urban Unit in Pakistan: Job Description:

• In charge of guaranteeing the caliber of all survey data collected and generated in the Spatial Data Engineering Section.
• Check that all measurements and computations made at survey locations are accurate.
• Carry out job strategies by efficiently supervising teams.
• Create survey procedures, guidelines, and tools for gathering data.
• Establish data collecting schedules, sampling techniques, and survey sample sizes.
• Build and maintain the structures required to store GIS data.
• Create maps for assigned assignments that interpret and illustrate findings.
• Create progress reports on field survey activities on a daily and weekly basis.
• Create work plans and provide the team with the appropriate data.
• Maintain data storage and make frequent backups.
• In compliance with project TORs, instruct survey teams in the use of remote sensing and GIS.
• Maintain, evaluate, and interpret spatial data.
• Create information products that are suited to the requirements of a particular field by processing and analyzing GIS/RS data.
• Complete any other duties that the senior GIS specialist assigns you.

Specialist Survey of the Urban Unit in Pakistan Jobs:Qualification & Experience:

Education: 16 years of graduation from a HEC-approved university with a degree in geomatics, GIS, geography, space science, political science, LLB, or a similar field

Experience: seven to nine years of appropriate survey management experience Geospatial data management and GIS/RS

OR

Education: 18 years of graduation from a HEC-approved university with a degree in geomatics, GIS, geography, space science, political science, LLB, or a similar field

Experience: six to seven years of experience in the field Management of Surveys Geospatial data management and GIS/RS
