Punjab Health Initiative Management Company Jobs Description:
To support the empanelment of private and public healthcare providers under the Universal Health Insurance Scheme by ensuring a standard checklist and providing assistance in other initiatives taken by the company.
Punjab Health Initiative Management Company Jobs Responsibilities:
- Ensure the empanelment is carried out, and notify the empaneled hospital of any irregularities or noncompliance.
- Using the insurance company to find appropriate medical facilities to provide services to SSP beneficiaries, keeping track of all relevant documents regarding the admission of healthcare facilities, initiating the process of de-empanelment and following up with the insurance company
- if healthcare facilities violate the program's rules Conduct research on the program's claims, the quality of services, and the treatment that was provided.
- Following up with insurance company and healthcare facilities for improvement in the quality of healthcare facilities
- Following up with insurance company and healthcare facilities for improvement in the identified shortcomings of healthcare facilities identified by M&E and other departments of PHIMC
- Liaison with PHC and other related departments for empanelment of good-quality healthcare facilities
- Support M&E function of PHIMC for regular performance audit and monitoring of empanelment
- Develop and implement a Matrix to identify improvement opportunities in Service Level Standards and incorporate these improvements in Standards after the agreement of all stakeholders and the necessary
- Collect data and report non-availability of required services (if any) to the beneficiaries
- Devise empowerment strategy in consultation with the Director
- Inform PHIMC Management of the challenges and opportunities related to hospital services, as well as the proposed corrective measures for each.
- Before empanelment or de-empanelment, ensure that all process formalities and thorough due diligence are completed.
- Ensure proper steps are followed with reasonable documentation before the suspension of services at any of the empaneled
- Any other task/assignment by management/HOD.
