Job Description :

Qualification:
  •  Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (Minimum sixteen (16) years of education) in the field of Civil Engineering / Business Administration / Public Administration / Supply Chain Management from HEC recognized University. 
Experience:
  • at least five years of procurement experience in a reputable public or private organization. Out of which three (03) years in Public Sector procurement experience in PPRA / EPADS on same position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
  •  manage every step of the procurement procedure, including contract management, negotiation, and sourcing.
  •  Ensure compliance with public procurement regulations (PPRA/EPADS) and company policies.
  •  Choose suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance. 
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
  •  Observe the performance of suppliers and address any discrepancies or problems. 
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
  •  Understand the procurement requirements of various departments and ensure that they are in line with the organization's objectives by working together. 
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
  •  Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement activities.
  •  Ensure the proper handling and storage of procured goods.
  •  Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement and contract management.
  •  Establish and keep solid connections with vendors and suppliers. 
  • Staff members should be supported and trained on procurement policies and procedures.
