Job Description:

  • Six years of experience and a master's or bachelor's degree in information technology, digital media, or media studies (16 years of experience) from an HEC-recognized university are required. 
  • A foreign-qualified candidate will be given preference. Head Communications ought to have a solid background in media, including content creation, SEO, SEM, social media management, and data analytics.
  • He or she must be familiar with social media advertising platforms and tools like Google Analytics. 
  • It is essential to have experience working with cross-functional teams, optimizing performance through data insights, and executing digital marketing campaigns.

The Planning & Development Board (P&D Board) of the Government of Punjab is seeking a Head of Communications to lead and execute its communication strategy. The ADP Scheme titled "Establishment of Strategic Communication Cell in P&D Board" includes this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning for Strategic Communication: To achieve the board's goals, develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies. 

Manage media: inquiries and press releases as part of your media management responsibilities

Digital Marketing: Manage social media, create content, manage SEO, SEM, and data analytics for digital marketing efforts.

Content Creation: Create engaging and instructive content for publications, social media, and other platforms. 

Data Analysis: Utilize tools like Google Analytics to analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

 Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure that messages are consistent and in line with the goals of the organization. 

Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in digital communication and media.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Information Technology, Digital Media, Media Studies, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university.
  •  at least six years of relevant work experience. 
  • Candidates with international experience will be given preference.
