Job Description:
Qualification:
A member of a recognized body of professional accountants; or a member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries; or a person holding a master degree in business administration or commerce or being a law graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
Experience:
At least Ten (10) years of experience in well reputed Public / Private Sector Organization. Out of which five (05) years of experience on same position in a Public Sector Organization
Company Secretary (M-4) Sargodha Waste Management Company, Sargodha, PAKISTAN Job Responsibilities: |
- Ensure the company complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage corporate governance and ensure that the board of directors' decisions are implemented.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and other documentation for board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs).
- Maintain and update statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
- Ensure that the company’s filings with regulatory bodies are accurate and timely.
- Provide legal and administrative support to the board and executive management.
- Communicate with advisers and regulators from the outside, such as lawyers and auditors. Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action.
- Develop and oversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements.
- Handle correspondence, collate information, write reports, and communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders.
- Ensure the proper and timely dissemination of information to shareholders and other stakeholders.
- Manage the company’s insurance policies and ensure they are up to date.
- Provide advice on best practices and issues pertaining to corporate governance. Support the board in ensuring the effective functioning of board committees.
- Oversee the induction and training of new directors and board members.
- Any other task assigned by senior management
