Job Description:

  • ACCA (Affiliated) or CA Intern, or at least 16 years of finance or commerce education from a HEC-accredited institution 
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience as Auditor in Government Sector/well reputed organization/donor funded projects.
  •  familiar with the most recent accounting regulations and have worked with financial management software before. 
  • Minimum age 25 years

Supporting financial management in the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Punjab Urban Land Record Systems Enhancement (PULSE) project is one of the responsibilities of the Finance Associate position at the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA). This World Bank-funded initiative aims to modernize land records management across Punjab.

 Principal Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring for the PULSE project.

 Reporting: Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the World Bank and government departments.

 Audit and Compliance: Assist with audits, ensure adherence to financial policies, and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.

 Coordination: Collaborate with the PIU and other departments to align financial operations with project objectives.

 Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including expense tracking and payment processing.

Experience and Education:

  • a relevant degree in accounting, finance, or another related field. 
  • Preferably, experience in government or project-based financial management. 
  • familiarity with audit procedures, budgeting, and financial reporting. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
